Account Settings and Rewards Bar

Welcome to your Penda! In the top-right corner of your screen, you’ll find your Student Account Settings and Rewards Bar. This is your personal hub for tracking your progress, counting your hard-earned loot, and customizing your account.


 

Account Settings

Click on your Avatar Icon in the top-right corner to open up your dashboard controls. Note, different from Avatar Editor where changes to the Avatar happens. See this link: Avatar - Editor and Store Pages

Account: Your ultimate command center. Drop in here to:

  • Password: Change or update your password to keep your account secure.
  • Notifications: Check out alerts and feedback from your teachers on graded work.
  • Integrations: Quickly connect or disconnect Single Sign-On (SSO) options.
  • Confidentiality (Go Stealth Mode): Want to stay under the radar? You can hide your name from the student leaderboard student-facing leaderboard.
    • Note: Your teachers will still see your awesome progress on their dashboard, marked with a "crossed-out eyeball" icon.
  • Security: Coming soon! A place to set up password reset questions.

Support: 

  • Need a hand? This links you straight to the 24/7 Help Center to submit a help request.

Language:

  • Speak your language! You can switch the main menu prompts between 6 different languages:
    • English
    • Español (Spain)
    • Español (Mexico)
    • Francais
    • Tagalog
    • Kreyol Ayisyen
  • Note: This is separate from the Immersive Reader/Translator tool found within specific activities.

Logout: 

  • All done for the day? Safely sign out of your Penda account here..

Rewards Bar - Decoding Your Rewards Bar

Every time you complete activities, you earn rewards. Here is what all those cool icons and numbers mean:

Level -  

  • Look directly at your Avatar! That number shows your current level. Earn XP to climb higher!

XP (Experience Points) -  

  • You earn 5 XP for every single correct answer. Rack up enough XP, and you'll Level Up!

Credits -  

  • Your shopping currency! Every activity gives you credits based on how many questions it has. You get 10 credits for every correct answer, which you can spend in the Avatar Store to buy epic new gear.

Activities Mastered Title -

  • This shows how many activities you've aced with a score of 80% or higher. 
  • Click on the Blue Star to reveal your current title achieved (are you an Influencer, a Wizard, or a Genius?)

Notification -  

  • See a Red Dot? That means you've got mail! It usually means your teacher (or the AI-grading system) just finished grading one of your written responses or assignments.
