Navigating the Account Summary Dashboard (District Admin)

This step-by-step guide will help district administrators efficiently access and analyze account and user activity data within the educational platform.

Step 1: Access the Account Summary Page

• From the left navigation bar, select the Summary

Step 2: View Key Account Details

• On the Account Summary page, you will see:
  • Licenses Overview: Displays the number of licenses allocated and used.
  • Roster Summary: Shows the number of schools, courses, classes, and students in your district.
  • Active Users Overview to review platform engagement. Note: Active Users is defined as users who have logged into Penda in the last 30 days.

Step: 3: View User Activity Stats

From the Active Users section, click "Show More" to view User Activity Stats

• Use filters to view data by Schools, classes, keywords, or timeframes.
• Analyze Teacher and School Admin Metrics: 
  • Total logins, last login date, assignments created, and reports created. 
  • Note: Auto-assigned PAS assignments and pre-made quick reports are excluded from these metrics but total logins still reflect platform usage.
• Review Student Metrics: Total logins, last login, assignments completed, and activities completed. Use this data to identify high-performing students or those needing support.
• Click View Profile for any teacher, administrator, or student to explore settings, classes, assignments, and group activities.

Download User Activity

• Click the DOWNLOAD button from the Activity Stats page

• When the data if available for download, you will find it in the Downloads section on the left navigation bar.
